Niche Store Writer
Since my last post about BANS headers I have been a busy man. Getting my niche stores built, continuing my day job, making plans for my wedding and becoming an uncle for the first time. On top of that I have also been thinking much about the direction this blog is going.
The main aim of this blog is to bring you all the news from the affiliate marketing world, what with all the mmo blogs out there I felt that someone needed to take the time to give you all a view on who is doing what, and more importantly who is offering the best information out there. In doing so I have read thousands upon thousands of make money online blogs and learnt an awful lot along the way. Hence my quiet time recently while I have been making money with my Bans sites.
If you are not yet involved in building nice stores, then please check out my two favourite blogs of the moment. Firstly the niche store builder which, as the name suggests, has some really specific info about building your niche store using BANS. Secondly, you really ought to be reading bloggerunleased by Victor Franqui (more about Vic to follow) who offers a rather different view on making money online.
For those of you already invloved in building niche stores using bans then I will say no more than this………….get Niche Store Writer. Simple as that. If you are keen on making money online then just go and buy this now! It is a very easy to use tool that will create keyword optimised content for your niche stores in seconds, thus allowing you to get on and make money by building links. Seriously, I have wasted a lot of time and a lot of money online but niche store writer will fix all that.
Creating Bans Headers
I was just reading a comment left by someone on my previous post about bans and it got me thinking. Whilst anyone can make money with niche ebay stores using the bans program it does help if they look the part!!! So, Kelly Blue Book, this is for you. Here is a nice demo on how to knock up bans headers for your site.
Thanks to AuctionZeal for a great demo but I have to point out that as google does not currently read images….it is seo unfriendly. Personally I would advise that you create the background image and play with the css headers in bans to make a search engine friendly title. Leave me a comment if you need advice on how to do that !

A New Way To Make Money With eBay
When you hear “eBay” and “money” in the same sentence your probably think of becoming an eBay seller.
You place product listings in the eBay marketplace, buyers bid, you pay your eBay seller fees and what you have left is your profit margin.
There is, however, another way to build a business which still revolves around eBay but which doesn’t involve you selling a single thing in the eBay marketplace.
This “other way” opportunity is based on the eBay affiliate program and a great tool which makes entry into this opportunity not only possible but also super easy. This tool is called “Build A Niche Store“.
Now if you don’t know – an affiliate program enables you as an individual internet entrepreneur to promote the products of a company in exchange for a commission on all sales that you refer. You are basically operating as an internet middleman and connecting internet browsers to particular products and companies through you own network of websites and marketing methods.
If we return to the eBay affiliate program, eBay actually invites you to promote all of the product listings in the eBay marketplace and in exchange for your efforts will pay you up to 75% of the revenue they make from each sale you refer plus up to $35 for each new active eBay member you refer.
You can have a read about the eBay.com affiliate program here
What this means is that you can earn up to three quarters of eBay’s revenue simply for connecting people to the products listed in the eBay marketplace. Not only do you get to partner with the best branded marketplace in the world, you also get access to and control over ALL of the products listed in this marketplace. The eBay product inventory becomes YOUR product inventory and yet you do NOT have to stock items, deal with customers, organize shipping or process refunds.
You are no longer limited to selling only those products which you can buy and sell for a profit margin. You can choose ANY niche market and promote those eBay products relevant to your chosen niche outside of the eBay marketplace, funnelling targeted traffic through to eBay and into your own affiliate commissions.
Golf clubs, sewing kits, laptops, dog collars, diamond rings, Florida real estate…
If you know eBay you know how BIG it is – there are NO limits.
At this point you might be thinking - well this sounds interesting but in reality is there any money in it? Well, here’s the shocker – eBay’s top affiliates make over 1 million dollars a month. That’s right – 8 figures a year without stocking, selling or shipping a single thing!
Now eBay does provide some basic free tools to help you succeed as an eBay affiliate and build an affiliate business BUT it has been the development of a tool outside of eBay that has really opened this up as a legitimate business opportunity.
The tool, as I mentioned earlier, is called “Build A Niche Store” and what it enables you to do is build eBay affiliate websites targeted to any eBay niche you want. These act as the medium through which you funnel targeted visitors to eBay.
Here are a couple of examples, one targeting Race Cars and the other Golf Equipment:
Race Car eBay Affiliate Website
Golf eBay Affiliate Website
As you can see, these are professional looking websites that contain all of those eBay products related to their target niche inside a searchable store format, each of which automatically contains your eBay affiliate id.
These stores then automatically update as new products are listed for sale and old listing expire from the eBay marketplace and the software has built in development features which enable you to create new store pages, add content to these pages, create content pages, modify your template etc etc.
Basically, in the space of about 10 minutes (once you are familiar with how the software works) you can create a fully functional eBay affiliate website targeted to the niche market of your choice.
Your store content is all search engine friendly which will provide the foundation for attracting targeted traffic from the search engines and you can then use the development features to attract more targeted visitors which will in turn mean more eBay affiliate commissions.
It really is a brilliant concept and I’ve been hearing great things about the guys behind the project and the member forum which you get lifetime access to when you purchase the product. Think about how many niches eBay caters to!
Build A Niche Store comes with a step by step user manual which will walk even the most technically inexperienced through setting up their eBay affiliate website, 9 professional template layouts which can be customized (from inside your admin panel) to match your target niche, lifetime member forum access, comprehensive product support and possibly most importantly – an UNLIMITED domain license which means you can build as many of these niche websites as you want for the small one time fee.
Think about how many niches eBay caters to!
How big could your eBay affiliate business be?!

Blog wars
My time at the 9-5 recently has been used to keep check on a few issues I posted about previously. I was quite stunned the other day to re-visit onemansgoal to find that a little blog wars had erupted. Words like douchebag and dumbf*ck are being thrown about by Bryan and Vic, whilst the new guy Marc has taken rather an unnecessary amount of flak for his purchase.
This little exchange got me thinking about a number of issues relating to such comments so I rushed off to do my research. First of all, a lot of the comments seem to suggest that Marc paid too much for onemansgoal, but did he? I’ll use DnScoop again to keep the consistency here and my personal opinion is that he did not.
When the site was sold it was estimated at just shy of $8.5k (Marc paid $10.5). Checking today it is now valued at $18,746. Now I’m aware that DnScoop is only an estimate but I do find it to be a fairly accurate tool and looking at that, it seems that the guy has made a pretty solid investement. Granted his Alexa ranking has slipped and no doubt so will his monthly earnings but my point is this…….for all those people who wrote posts slagging Marc off for his investement, it has done no harm to him at all. In fact he got just what he wanted which was an established platform from which he could be heard right away and even if Vics comments were out of order they sure did bring some interest to the site.
My second point refers to a comment that suggested Bryan could sue Vic for slander. Now I don’t know whether it’s due to the fact that I’m English, but that would just never occur to me. Actually, I’m not one for abusing other peoples efforts and quite frankly have better things to do…….. but it does work for Vic. He’s called all sorts of respected people in this industry all sorts of names and got huge amounts of traffic by doing so. I remember a time when making money online was all about helping others to do the same (and lining your ownpockets too). Maybe I’ll waste some time looking into whether or not there is a case here but in the mean time, watch what you say people! Yes, foul mouthed comments will attract visitors but is not the best way to build valuable and beneficial relationships and if there is a case for slander this opens up a whole new debate.
Anyway, my public sector job (which I am so close to resigning from) has just paid me a nice sum of money while I sat writing this, so I really should get back to some work. There is enough here to think about and I welcome your thoughts on the matter. All comments, both abusive and constructive, will get your site a stumble.
Next up………Johncow is for sale! Details to follow.
